Dealing with Loss

In 2008 nearly 100 people attended Simplicity Funerals first Grief Seminar looking for some answers to their questions about personal grief, and how to understand and support others through the grieving process.

Around 85% people who attended the 2008 event indicated they would attend future events with along a similar theme.

On October 31 2009, Simplicity will once again be the principal sponsor behind an effort to enhance individual knowledge and to support those looking to draw comfort from a better understanding of how to deal with their loss, regardless of its source. All are welcome and attendance is free.

Loss can be experienced in almost every facet of life. From career to education, from finance to romance, from death to sudden physical impairment – all these life changes can create a sense of loss that, at times can be overwhelming.

This seminar will explore loss from a variety of angles.

The historical Northern Suburbs Crematorium provides a serene environment – after all it is a place where loss is dealt with and last goodbyes are said on a daily basis, as well as being a place where people can find unexpected comfort.
