Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens and Crematorium is proud to be part of community life on Sydney's North Shore.
We are more than a place where friends and loved ones are memorialised, we are active participants in a wide range of activities. We hold regular events and we get out to meet people and support groups as often as we can. Here is a list of some of our activities in support of life on Sydney's North Shore.
Granny Smith Festival
Staff from Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens can be seen at the Granny Smith Festival held in Ryde each year in October. More information about this event can be found on the official website.
Mother’s Day Memorial Service
Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens and Crematorium hosts an annual memorial service on Mother’s Day to honour all of the mothers and mother-figures who are missed by families at this important time of the year.
Mothers and mother-figures make a significant contribution to our lives yet when they are no longer with us, it can make it hard to enjoy all that goes with a day like Mother’s Day. This is why we host an uplifting service of remembrance so that those missing a mother or mother-figure can include their thoughts about their departed loved one on this important day.
We would be honoured if you join us for this moving memorial service and join us for refreshments at the conclusion of the service.
Father’s Day Memorial Service
Northern Suburbs Memorial Park is hosting a memorial service that will honour the men that will be missing from this year’s Father’s Day celebrations.
When a family is missing a father, grandfather or father-figure, a day like Father’s Day can be sombre instead of joyous. To help those who are experiencing grief, Northern Suburbs Memorial Park and Guardian Funerals are combining to hold an uplifting service of tribute that honours these missing men.
Held in the North Chapel at Northern Suburbs Memorial Park, the service will also be an uplifting reflection on the importance of fathers and provide guests with an ideal way to include their missing father or father-figure on this important family day.
Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Service
A special memorial service will take place on International Pregnancy & Infant Loss Day to give comfort to all those who have experienced this type of loss.
The loss of a child or infant can affect us in many ways, and it is a loss that is felt throughout the years.
All are most welcome to come and share in the comfort and support being offered. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the service.
